“ You would never know this lil spot is there, and walking into the restaurant, you would be forgiven if you thought this was just another ordinary bar/restaurant in LA. But I assure you, the food, service, and experience are anything 'but' ordinary. Even selecting the DineLA option, my partner and I were able to enjoy the full Michelin Star experience. Our server (Sebastian) was impeccable in terms of guiding tastes, taking us through the meal, and providing the most excellent of service. The entire restaurant staff were outstanding and we were never left waiting, wanting, or wondering. The meal itself was remarkable. Every single bite, every flavor, everything on the plate was designed to elevate the dish. While there was a foam on top of the Lobster Bolognese, it was so far beyond the tired "foam for the sake of foam.". It was truffle infused and actually complimented the dish (a rarity whenever I see foam applied to a meal). The restaurant accommodated the amuse bouche for me (allergic to oysters) and there was never anything that felt forced or contrite. Our wine pairing with the entire meal (through every course) was exquisite and was very well thought out. My partner and I opted to each get different things from the DineLA offerings, and there was not a single bad bite or a "well that didn't work as a concept." In terms of dining, we had; 1st Course - Egg Caviar - Citrus Cured Hamachi Crudo 2nd Course - Cassoulet de Lotte - Lobster Bolognese 3rd Course - Snake River Farms Sirloin - Seed Crusted Liberty Farms Duck Dessert - Lemongrass Ice Cream - Panna Cota - Meringue and Berries The meal itself was very expensive, but truly unforgettable in the best of ways. ”
“ Wonderful place to have our last meal in LA. The lobster bolognese and spot prawns were absolutely amazing. The pear pavlova was also fantastic. Loved it all!! ”
“ I dined here on New Year's Eve and it was a great time. All of the food tasted wonderful and high quality. I was a big fan of the kanpachi crudo and the lobster bolognese. The basil bread was amazing, some of my favorite that i've had. I also loved how they had 3 small desserts instead of one big one. The service was really friendly and knowledgeable as well. ”
“ Celebrated the second anniversary of my son and daughter-in-law here at this Michelin 2023 awardee restaurant and we all enjoyed it and truly made the occasion very special. They even had a little Happy Anniversary note on their table when they found out about the occasion and they were given a cake to share, which I thought a very nice gesture. Entering to that red door ( on 11th side of street) sets the mood of the evening. I was greeted nicely by the hostess and felt welcome and seated to the table right away while waiting for my son and DIL. The ambiance was nice, totally more modern than the last time I remember it, and was so happy we were given the booth table. Food was amazing as expected of a Michelin star awardee chef owner and everything was thoroughly enjoyed by all 3 of us. From the appetizers all the way to their cocktails and desserts! Service was excellent! When I told the hostess I couldn’t read the menu because I forgot my readers, she came back to give me readers and made sure to let me know they were sanitized. When I was asking for a particular way of how I wanted my cocktail , our waiter said “I got you” and indeed he did so perfectly the way I wanted it! There is a valet parking available on the 11th street. ”
“ Delightful and beautifully presented meal. We ordered a la carte (no tasting menu) and the dishes were all excellent, especially the Lobster Bolognese. The portions are quite small, so either plan ahead or order appropriately! The restaurant interior is beautiful. You’ll need a reservation a fair bit in advance for primetime weekend seating. The service was also great. Overall very high quality. ”
“ This is a great spot for a special meal. To start, the food is incredibly well done, with complex flavors, high-quality ingredients, and everything is very well executed. The halibut, and desserts were definitely the highlights of the meal. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive as one expects from a Michelin restaurant. The atmosphere is refined and elegant but casual. If you are used to more formal NYC fine dining, it might be too casual. But for those who go to fine dining here on the West Coast, it's on par with most places out here. All in all, I highly recommend going here. The food is great, the service better, and all around a great dining experience. ”
“ We celebrated our 17th anniversary at Citrin, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the start, the service was top-notch—especially thanks to Michael Fuji, who took great care of us throughout the evening. One of the standout aspects of the dining experience at Citrin is the attention to detail. Each time a new dish arrives—whether it’s an appetizer or a main course—the server brings fresh plates and utensils. The staff also takes the time to explain each dish, describing how it’s made and breaking down its components, which really enhances your appreciation of the meal. We ordered the Dirty Chicken for two, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Lobster Bolognese was rich and satisfying, and we finished with the crepe for dessert—a perfect sweet ending. Citrin is definitely on the higher end price-wise, but every aspect of the evening made it completely worth it. Highly recommended for a special occasion. ”
“ I personally really loved it here. They are very thoughtful and were ready to do everything to help me to have a great experience. Nice food, nice service. At first I did not want to try dining experience but ended up and do not regret it. Will be back to have a la carte experience as well ”
